The Intergalactic Adventures of Pu is another excellent book by Ed Schneider and his son, Manny Schneider. This fantasy space adventure features an exciting, thrilling, and delightful retelling of foundational Christian themes in wonderfully new and inspiring ways. This work has been offered to Christian and non-Christian communities alike to help reintroduce - in a NEW WAY - the powerful and incredible message of what Christianity looks, acts, and sounds like when it's healthy. Even though it has underlying themes that facilitate a unique storytelling style, unless the reader was keenly aware of the Christian influence it would not be surprising if they would not recognize those theme until almost at the end of the story's journey. Among many inventive and imaginative characters throughout the book, one initially na ve boy named Alexander is a central character. He is a redheaded 14-year-old from Nebraska, who is whisked away through a faster-than-lightspeed neutrino stream tube from the back corner of David Butler Middle School's activities field. The moment he enters this fantastic journey he and his eventual companions experience a wild fantasy of the utterly different world of Pu. Alexander has been convinced to help find the four keys that will unlock the secret return of the Puian system's original savior to fend off the evil betrayer. Through the discovery and collection of the mythical four keys, he is able to unlock and powerful peace of the original Puian Savior. During his travels throughout the Puian system of seven planets, he is accompanied by a huge, stinky, blue-striped wolf named Kazmo and a warrior trainer, Mungi. The three go through exciting, tense, dramatic, and wildly imaginative tests, eventually exposing the great evil betrayer and traitor of the truth of Memra (the voice and presence of the power of truth). The antagonist has a dual persona; The Swordcaster and his alternative personality, Larry. Other major characters include Fah-Titahmus - the Great, the Willowspirit, the fear monger, and Uriel, the narrator through much of the book.
