Delivering the most current and practical coverage available, THE ILLUSTRATED AUTOCAD QUICK REFERENCE: 2013 AND BEYOND is a powerful resource that equips readers with detailed information on AutoCAD commands and functions. This indispensable guide catalogs all standard AutoCAD commands in alphabetical order, concisely describing their functions and options. Each listing also includes cross-references to related commands, system variables, and/or files. In addition, the book features every method of accessing each command, including commands not documented by Autodesk.
As with any sophisticated application, AutoCAD of an older nature has many hidden depths. This book is not here to teach how to apply AutoCAD or even understand the disciplines that it applies to.
This reference is what it claims to be. For the seasoned AutoCAD user, an older version can be quite interesting and may someday come in handy, especially for its robust options for using the tool quickly and effectively. You do not want to start with this older version, as it is a significant leap from previous versions to today. This reference will be good for a basic understanding of where AutoCAD came from. At the time of this review, we are at least at AutoCAD 202X. Who knows where we will go from here.
