No other AutoCAD reference guide on the market is more up-to-date or provides details for as many commands and functions as this comprehensive resource. Ideal for beginner through advanced students as... This description may be from another edition of this product.
As with any sophisticated application, AutoCAD of an older nature has many hidden depths. This book is not here to teach how to apply AutoCAD or even understand the disciplines that it applies to.
This reference is what it claims to be. For the seasoned AutoCAD user, an older version can be quite interesting and may someday come in handy, especially for its robust options for using the tool quickly and effectively. You do not want to start with this older version, as it is a significant leap from previous versions to today. This reference will be good for a basic understanding of where AutoCAD came from. At the time of this review, we are at least at AutoCAD 202X. Who knows where we will go from here.
A handy reference

This is a very handy and great reference for AutoCAD user. Each command is described in details complete with all its possible options. You can also trace back which command was added in which version of AutoCAD. Some very rare but interesting command like "overkill" can also be discovered in the book. It is also priced reasonably. Serious AutoCAD user should own this book. Why not 5 stars then? Because Autodesk come out with a new version of the software every year nowdays mean you have to buy a new edition of the book every year also.
