The Human Garden

THE HUMAN GARDEN is a visceral work of psychological and body horror that explores the terrifying transformation of Kabir, a delivery boy caught in a biological nightmare. The narrative begins when Kabir arrives at a secluded Chhattarpur farmhouse to deliver medical equipment, only to be drugged by the sinister Dr. Aaryaman Roy . He awakens to find his legs amputated and replaced by a mass of artificial roots, his body literally planted in a ceramic pot. Within the dark basement "nursery," Kabir discovers dozens of other victims who have been surgically altered into living, breathing sculptures, including a woman named Anjali whose skin has been turned into bark .

The horror intensifies as Dr. Roy grafts a parasitic, pulsating purple Orchid into Kabir's shoulder, a plant that feeds directly off his bloodstream and trauma. Through this biological violation, Kabir becomes part of a collective neural network, experiencing the telepathic agony of the other "plants" in the garden. Despite the loss of his humanity and a brutal attempted lobotomy, Kabir manages to use his new roots to manipulate a phone and alert his debt collector, Ravi. The story culminates in a violent clash and a devastating chemical fire that consumes the farmhouse, but Kabir's escape reveals a chilling truth: the transformation is permanent and a much larger, global organization is behind the "harvest" of human-plant hybrids.
