So freakin sweeet!

The Horror at camp Jellyjam is my second favorite Goosebumps book. It's about a girl named Wendy who's going on a vacation with her Mom, Dad, and her brother Elliot. They're traveling from Idaho to Wyoming and they have a big trailer hooked to the back of their car.Elliot and Wendy complain that they're bored so their parents let them go and sit in the trailer. They stop the car and climb into the back trailer. Then when they're going up a hill the trailer unlatches and the trailer falls down a hill and they end up by camp jellyjam. They figure out that Camp Jellyjam is a sports camp and to all the kids and counselors winning is everything "Only the best" everyone says. Once they get used to the camp people start to disappear just like in Welcome to Camp Nightmare. What's happening to everyone? Why is everyone so competitive? Why do the counselors act so weird? These are some of the questions you may ask before reading The Horror at Camp Jellyjam. This book could be kind of creepy to little kids but not people over the age of 8. The ending is very good and the problem is resolved in the end.

The Suspence is Killing me!!

The Horror at camp Jellyjam is a Freak'n masterpiece!! It's filled with suspece and curioustity that gets you hooked! Okay,Wendy and Elliot were on there way to a family trip when they get detatched from there RV trailer thing, and so they get lost in this camp where like this little girl scares the crap outta you when she's trying to warn Wendy and elliot to get out. So this camp is real competetive,And everyone is diveded into dorms and wendy's trying to get out of there, while this camp counceler and campers are creepily leaving clues on why they won't let Wendy to call her parents by unhooking there camp telephones and other ways of not keeping conntact with her parents and other stuff. Theres just so many weird and odd things that i can't tell you because It'll led right to the Most crazy reason why Camp jelly jam is acting so weird and zombie like. p.s. Theres one secret i can tell you......(win a camper wins in a sport, they get these medals that hypnotize them. but i won't give you the reason why!)

Camp Horror!

Wendy and her brother Elliot discover that winning at sports camp isn't everything. Staying alive is.

"Tennis...canoeing...monsters. Anyone?"

I was addicted to these books when I was younger and it wasn't until I was majoring in education in college that I figured out why. They were interesting with bizarre plot twists that most 9-12 year olds don't think about and they were short (usually between 110-130 pages). I could read the whole thing in a day.My parents also didn't have a lot of heartache with buying me a new book because these are relatively inexpensive (in the neighborhood of 3-5 bucks each).R.L. Stine's "Goosebumps" books aren't scary, just kind of creepy. There aren't graphic descriptions of murder and mayhem. Just some ghosts, werewolves, or potions. The main character is alive in the end, and the final chapter resolves everything.**Keep in mind, R.L. Stine has other books that aren't in the "Goosebumps" series that tend to be a little harsher when it comes to hauntings and plot. They are written more for the 12-14 age group and are longer (around 150-200 pages).

Fantastic.Brilliant.Excellent.

I wish Stine would write more stories like this. Wendy and Elliot crash into a weird camp where EVERYONE wants to win EVERYTHING!!!
