As time moves on, so does history. It is good to have a book in print so that we see what the pervasive history is at any one time. This book got one-line positive reviews at the time from: Stephen Jay Gould Roger Lewin, The Washington Post Kirkus Reviews 5 Richard Leakey From the introduction – “The Hominid Gang” gives us ample space for names in the news, for these people are leaders in research. But Delta Willis also shows us the true complexity and camaraderie of science as a collective enterprise. She has followed and questioned the people who do not make daily news, but who form the backbone of our industry. The book contains eight pages of color pictures.
