An important and timely book

At a time when the Divine Feminine is giving birth to diverse expressions on earth there is a real need to understand the esoteric underpinnings of this unprecedented movement. For those who know that this is not a passing fad but an evolutionary shift of monumental import this may be essential reading. Not for the spiritually immature (a familiarity with Anthroposophy is desirable), in The Heavenly Sophia and the Being Anthroposophia, Prokofieff traces the esoteric development of the being of Divine Wisdom from ancient times to the present by synthesizing and penetrating the spiritual scientific research of Rudolf Steiner upon which it is based. The religious vein of this book, though decidedly Christian, is refreshingly magnanimous in contrast to the modern prevalence of narrow and fundamentalist interpretations of Christianity. It is a Rosicrucian Christianity that respects all known religions of the light--encompassing karma and reincarnation as well as advising adherence to Buddha's teaching of the eight fold path as a means of perfecting the chakras. This book is as rich as it is dense, is philosophically profound and will be, to the less spiritually advanced, even obscure. Prokofieff presents spiritual facts discovered by Steiner through his capacity for reading the Akashic record which are thoroughly corroborated with extant esoteric wisdom. With this in mind, one would not expect to believe or understand it fully in one or even several readings; but taken as a challenge to develop faculties of perception which will appear at a later phase of human evolution for most human beings--it is an exercise in spirit vision. An absolutely illuminating study for anyone who feels a deep spiritual connection to the Divine Feminine.
