While I am not an executive, this book offered some great suggestions on how to stay healthy while not effecting my business schedule. Having just recently entered the workforce and working 70+ hour a week, I was looking for a way to keep healthy and not be so worn out all the time. Amy Sutton's book really helped put things in perspective for me. If you are concerned about staying healthy this is the book for you, whether you are a top executive or an intern fresh out of college.

Amy Sutton does a superb job capturing the reader and appealing to his or her intelect concerning the health risks and precautions which make up our business world. She focuses on how important the business world is in our society and the dense population fow which it churns for. A must for up-and-coming entrepreneurs or a ritired sonova guns.

This book does a wonderful job of blending the physical, the mental and the nutritional balance for today's fast pace. One of the largest barriers I had to overcome when I went from a physical job in law enforcement to a desk job as an executive, was that of gaining weight. Amy's book gives fabulous tips on stretching exercises you can do at work, small 10 to 20 minute sessions of exercises you can do before or after work that aren't time consuming, but are very effective in keeping yourself flexible and fit! She takes us down to the basics, like posture, balance and stretching and reminds us how simple but critical these elements are to being healthy. She gives us an arsenal of routines, and it's easy to find one, two or several that can work for you. My favorite chapter discussed due diligence and listening to what your body and mind are telling you, i.e. not to get caught up in life's day to day stress. Take time to appreciate and take care of yourself. For only then can you be the Healthy Executive! Thanks Amy!
