GOD is with them in Hawaiia

The Hawaiian Discovery Is the sequel do the Hawaiian Quilt but it can stand alone and I am glad because it is an original story line. The author takes you on a vivid journey through the Hawaiian Islands. This story has its ebbs and flows and it does that from word one to word last. The author's journey takes you to the culture of the islands - everything about them - you will so enjoy it - I know I did. The author knows how the main characters relate very well and how they progress in the love department and she did that extremely well. Take A Trip Back To The Beautiful Islands Of Hawaii In The Hawaiian Discovery

Best selling author Wanda Brunstetter and her daughter-in-law Jean take their readers back to the beautiful islands of Hawaii, in their sequel to The Hawaiian Quilt ------- The Hawaiian Discovery. This time we find Mandy and Ken Williams selling their B & B in Indiana and moving to Hawaii to live with Ken's recently widowed mother. When Ken is seriously injured in surfing accident, Mandy calls on her best friend Ellen Lambright to come to Hawaii to help the couple in this difficult time. Ellen agrees and when she gets to Hawaii she does not realize how much her visit will change her life, while helping out her dear friends. The Hawaiian Discovery reunited us with some of the characters from The Hawaiian Quit and it also introduces us to some new characters, especially Rob, who becomes attracted to Ellen. I would highly recommend The Hawaiian Discovery, as it is a heartwarming story about forgiveness, putting ones trust in God, friendship and letting go of the past I was given a complimentary copy of The Hawaiian Discovery by Barbour Publishing and this is my honest opinion of the book. A wonderful book!

The Hawaiian Discovery is another wonderful book by Wanda and Jean Brunstetter. This is a sequel to the Hawaiian Quilt. I was very excited to read this book and I was not disappointed. The book is well written and the characters seem real. I loved learning more about the characters from the first book and meeting new characters. I hope that there will be a third book in this series. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review.

Good Friend

Ellen is such a great friend to Mandy. She helps out at their B&B that is in their hometown. When Mandy's husband's father suddenly gets very sick, Mandy and her husband go to give support to his mom and brother. Ellen is left managing the B&B, while they are out of town. They have gone to Hawaii, where his family lives. Mandy's father in law dies, her brother in law can't deal with losing his father, so he and his family move to California. That leaves Mandy, her husband, and his mom taking care of the family's organic chicken farm. It's a lot of work, wearing the young couple out each day. When Mandy's husband is tragically attacked, her good friend Ellen comes to her rescue. Ellen promises to stay as long as she's needed. Mandy's mother in law hires Rob, who does most of the heavy work outside. He and Ellen take care of the chickens, while Mandy and her mother in law keep vigil at the hospital. As a result, Ellen comes to care for Rob. Rob is really Rueben, who was raised Amish but has had a tragic event in his own life, that caused him to flee Pennsylvania coming to Hawaii. Ellen is hurt, when she finds out the personal details that Rueben has been holding back. After Ellen's return to her Indiana home, she settles in to her life. Missing Reuben, but knowing that he will have to come to grips with his own past, before they could ever think of a future. I enjoyed this book, I did not read book one, but even though you feel like you're jumping into the book, it is set so that you don't feel lost, if you haven't read that first book. I like that. Not to mention, the beautiful melon color that is inside of both covers. The book has its own flaps, inside of each cover. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing.
