Rory is forced to start over in Scotland. She buys an old manor with big ideas to restore it. Things don't exactly go her way when a meddlesome ghost gets involved.

Niven demands his peace and quiet; he is lord of this manor, after all. The pesky detail about being dead doesn't change that. The woman who thinks she's the new owner is fetching, but she still needs to go, preferably before she accidentally burns the house down. Except, despite his best effort, the woman refuses to leave, and before he realizes it, she's grown on him.
