You don't have to think, my dearest children, that when I am away from you, I will no longer be anywhere or not exist at all. In fact, even when I was among you, you did not see my soul, but you understood from my actions that it was in this body. Senofonte, Ciro il Vecchio I would have liked to lead more than one existence, but like any mortal, due to the brevity of life and the love of habits, my desire to undertake another existence remained just that. It doesn't bother me much, only that, like any mortal, I enjoy complaining while contenting myself with what this existence has given me. In my singular existence, I always preferred not to choose, to let myself be guided by events without opposing them, even though I tried several times - driven by heroic impulses or bizarre philosophies. - To change it. But due to social conditioning, of which I am both the main culprit and a conscious victim, I remained living the most comfortable or simply the one I was accustomed to, granted to me by history and chance.
