Some stories begin with darkness, where the light feels so far away it might as well not exist. This is one of those stories. A girl who became lost in the shadows of her own life, drowning in abuse and pain that no one should ever have to endure. Her body was broken, her mind was fractured, and her soul seemed on the verge of giving up. Yet, somehow, she survived.
