The Ghost Sitter

To start with The Ghost Sitter is about a ten year old girl who usted to live at the house in the story with her family.then on a July 4 her sister and her were playing with fireworks and someone dared her to hold a firework then let go.When she did she held it to long and when it exploed she dided.Then her sister said dont leave that she would come back for her.The setting mostly takes place at the house in the story.The proublem in this story is that there is a ghost that lives in this house however only little kids can see her and she loves to babysit.The conflict in this story is Chrollet and the neighbor look in the phonbook for someone named Gloria and the found where they burried Sparkler Susie and they looked and looked for this graveyard and they found a place where the vines and grass hadnt been cut .they go up there and they find her tombstone and then left a note on her sistres gravystone. a couple days latter someone named Gloria came and said that sh was Susies sister but she didnt belive her. then she sid that she had been dead for 50 years.This is resolevd by Susie finally belives her and she can finally leave and then the house isnt haunted anymore

a beautiful story about a ten-year-old ghost

when charlotte moves into her new house, she hears about a ghost, but doesn't believe. Soon, that changes. The ghost, Susie, doesn't realize she's dead and doesn't wonder long about what happened to her - she waits until the day her parents and little sister Gloria, who moved out after Susie's death, come back. In the meantime, she plays with babies and toddlers, the only people who can see her, as family after family moves in and out of her house. Then Charlotte (whose little brother Brandon is a playmate of Susie's), with the help of her new friend Shannon, manages to talk to Susie, and the two girls try to find out what happened to Susie, and figure out a way to help her. What made this book so good was Charlotte's thoughts. In the process of helping Susie, she wonders about death and what happens, feels sad about all the people in the cemetery who have been forgotten. Charlotte isn't just the girl who helps Susie, she's also a growing ten-year-old with no previous experieces with death, who thinks and wonders. Charlotte makes the book, not just a good story, but REAL.

The Ghost Sitter was a great book!!! The only thing I didnt like about it though was that I like ghost stories where the ghost haunts people. Otherwise , I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!

Be Prepared to fear the unknoun

The Ghost Sitter, by Peni R. Griffin, is about a girl named Susie Miller. Susie dies from a firework accident. After awhile, she turns into a ghost. She promises her sister, Gloria, she will never leave the house. Gloria's the only one that can see her because she's little. Then about 50 years later, a girl moves into the house. Can she help Susie find her parents? I like that it is a mix of realistic fiction and fantasy. I was jumping out of my seat at all of the surprises there were. I loved it! The author didn't need to do anything better. She explained everything perfectly! I had a great time reading it. This book also taught me an important lesson. It is you can help people at all times. In the story, Charlotte was trying to help a friend find her parents and they developed a great friendship. It helped me learn this lesson and it can help you too.

A very good book

When i read the ghost sitter i found that it was a book i couldn't put down! I loved that book it will make you laugh, it will make you cry, and it will make you want to read more!
