Humor in the Old West

A less-than-honest former Confederate calvaryman from Texas teams up with a straight-arrow former Union infantryman from Kentucky. These two "gents" form a team that knows how to shoot, fight, retreat, and deliver one liners with the best. All of the books in this series are worth reading, but if you demand gunfights in your Westerns, you should probably stick to the first two of the Gents novels.
