The Game With Athlete Legends Novel

By Oscar Rubenstien

THE GAME WITH ATHLETE LEGENDS - a gripping survival thriller that blends the high-stakes tension of Squid Game with the relentless, televised danger of The Running Man, yet stands entirely on its own with original games, layered twists, and a deeply human story that will keep readers second-guessing until the final page.
The story follows Viktor, an Olympic wrestler who is taken without warning and dropped into this nightmare. He finds himself alongside a Jamaican sprinter, a Korean taekwondo champion, a Japanese judo master - and ordinary people: a teacher, a nurse, a shopkeeper - people who never asked to be heroes. As the games unfold, nothing is as it seems. Rules shift without warning. Allies may be traitors. Strangers may be the only ones who can save you. When a man claiming to be an undercover FBI agent arrives with a desperate note for help, no one knows who to trust.
As the survivors fight to stay alive, they uncover a web of corruption that reaches into the highest offices on Earth - and a shattering revelation at the heart of the island: the man who built this nightmare did so not only for profit, but out of a darkness born in his own childhood trauma. What begins as a fight for survival becomes a fight for justice, and a choice between becoming like their oppressors or proving that kindness is the greatest strength of all.

Deep in a remote stretch of the Pacific lies Isla Letalis - a secret island where billionaires, heads of state, and powerful figures gather to watch a spectacle unlike anything the world has seen. Hand-picked athletes, prisoners, and people society has discarded are brought together to compete in a series of deadly trials. The winner takes freedom and fortune. The losers do not leave.
