Excellent Book!!!!!

The Fourth AwakeningThis is a great book! The author does an amazing job of integrating bleeding edge science with a fun and compelling story that pulls you in. While the story is a fiction, the science is real and explained in a way that is really easy to understand. This is the first in a series of (at least) 3 books with the 2nd to be released sometime in 2010. I loved it and highly recommend it to everybody!!

Will stretch you ideas of reality

This is a novel about the power of thought and ideas. Literally power to change the physical world. Power of mind. There has been nothing like it since Ursula K. Le Guin's classic novel, "The Lathe of Heaven". But the latter was strictly fantasy, while this delicious story teases the reader with the possibility that such powers actually lie hidden, enfolded in human nature, waiting to be awakened. The forth awakening.

couldn't stop reading....

I was riveted from the first page and knew right there I wasn't going to get much else done until I read the entire book; and, frankly, that's REALLY odd for me because, while I'm avid reader, I'm always reading several books at the same time and they're always "practical, how-to" non-fiction type works that I almost never read cover-to-cover. But the Fourth Awaken was a totally different experience for me because I was so caught up in the story that it wasn't until I was a couple chapters in when I realized that Pennington & Martin where actually sneaking in some vital spiritual lessons at the same time. Not, to get too esoteric, but as I continued to read, I found a sense of calm and connectedness wash over me where I realized it was time to return home to my true passion: inner exploration of universal Source. So, if you're looking for TRUE inspiration (not warm bath motivation which quickly fades) that feels like a hug from God, stop whatever you're doing, buy this book, clear your decks for the next 12 hours, read the first 5 pages and prepare to embark on the most enjoyable journey you've ever taken. A Great Read!

Reading this book was the most fun I've had in quite awhile! It is definitely hard to put down! I read it in one day by starting it during my lunch break and finishing it in one late evening. Hoo boy! The late night reading was much easier when I was younger! The plot is tight and you will find yourself right there with the characters as they live through the situation. I think the fiction format was masterful; the information is presented very well. Thank you very much for this book, and I look forward to the sequel!

An All-Around Great Read!

Loved the book. Really, really loved it. The cat and mouse game of it was superb in execution. And this comes from an avid reader of Ludlum, Follet, Uris, Grisham and Archer. So I'm used to a great read that does not disappoint! For the uninitiated into the weightiness of the subject matter, it was perfect. What a great way to be initiated. Finally science can back the spiritual, giving credence to concepts that were once easily dismissed. In "The Fourth Awakening," the journey through all that science and spirituality not only becomes a pleasure cruise, but an exciting adventure into what is possible for humankind. Please tell me when the sequel is finished! I'll be first in line to read it.
