Best Book !

This book is so heart warming. Not to mention really sad. The hardest part for me in the book is when Dancer dies. And the way Joelle treats the foal. It amazing. Yeah, i know she lost her favorite horse in the whole world and since it's the only thing left of Dancer you would think she would love her so much and take really good care of her.(I know I would if my horse died after havin'a foal.) I loved the end it was so cool. I was pretty surprised it ended like that. Believe me I was relieved though. When I finished it I was like,Wow. I was blown away how great it was. I would totally name this a #1 Bestseller. Have fun reading this awesome book !

This is a Great book..It really touched my heart

I got this book as a gift and at first it didn't seen that appealing to me. But one night at about 7:30 I had no other book to read, so I read it. I read it and I stopped reading at about 11:30 only because I had finished the book, I would have never put it down! This book I felt sad when Dancer died and even more mad at Joelle for hating the foal. I also Liked it how horses can help disabled people. Her brother went from a wheelchair to cretches only because of horses! Joelle only loved the foal when the foal saved her disabled brother from drowning..thats when she realized that she actually did love the foal.. There is more to this book than above and I guarantee that you will love this book, you will never be able to put it down! Happy reading

a great book

This was a great book, but it was horrible the Joelle treated that filly and kept thinking it was the filly's fault Dancer died. I cried when Dancer died, but I wanted to scream when Joelle treated that filly like that.

A great & sad book!

This book was really good. Just seeing the cover makes me cry. That poor foal standing in the rain while Joelle just totally ditched him. I also cried when Dancer died. Dancer seemed like such a sweet horse and I loooove black horses. If I were Joelle, I would have cried for as long as Joelle did, but I would do all my cryin' out there with that foal and I would love her and take care of her so that she would be a champion just like her mother. That's how I would honor Dancer, right from the start! It was a great book even though Joelle sort of acted like a brat, but I could sort of, kind of, see where she was coming from. Although I would NEVER act like that!

This was a great book!

This was a great book. It shows how a young girl goes through loosing her favorite horse. This book showed how over time a young girl worked through this problem. This is a book that almost anyone can enjoy.
