The familial bond between a strong headed half alien man and his timid yet brave human nephew is tested as they are thrust into the multiverse where a nefarious plan to activate the Mortal Engine is being carried out....

AAR N, a young black transgender man, knows that he is something more than just a plain old human with strange bodily features and abilities. Aar n also knows that his young transgender/two spirit nephew, MICO, is starting to figure that fact out for himself. The two are very similar in their creative endeavors and life experiences, yet vastly different personality wise. Mico is extremely timid and hates jumping to conclusions while Aar n is very bold with his actions and tends to greatly overreact at times which causes periods of tension between the two. However, the one thing that always brings them back together is their shared trauma of the day that JAUN, Mico's father and Aar n's brother, was killed in a shooting. The two are still searching for closure, and one night their search leads them back to the now abandoned mall where the incident took place.

Things quickly spiral out of control as a robotic villain from the multiverse, CIRCUIT-BREAKER, makes himself known and attempts to capture Aar n for nefarious purposes....
