The Fire-Heart is the story of four lives caught within four different systems; each one claiming authority over who they are allowed to be.
One answers to governing rule. One to the structure of education. One to moral judgment. And one exists under the shadow of taboo.Bound by forces larger than themselves, they learn to navigate control, expectation, and fear; until the moment power shifts from system to individual. When that happens, the rules change. And so does everything else.
Their journeys intertwine as friendships are tested, trust is earned, and bonds grow stronger under pressure. But power does not promise salvation. It demands decisions, sacrifices, and consequences that cannot be undone.
Some will rise, others will break.
And some may not live long enough to see the world change.
