Best in the Mama Lou series IMO

I really enjoyed this book, think it was the best of the bunch. All the characters are great, especially Mama Lou we all should have a relative or friend like her! Tho it would be wonderful for one of them to fall in love with someone who is not always rich and upper middle class, someone from a background like Hope and Faith in One sure thing. Anyway Trey watch out!

Mamma Lou Got Everybody Shook!!!

I continue to be amazed @ the Mamma Lou series of Celeste O. Norfleet's books. Someone actually managed to tame Kennedy who was known for adrenaline rushes and bad boys. In this compelling story, it seems that Kennedy may have been a little in over her head, until she met the ultra handsome Juwan Mason. Both free spirits and thrill junkies by nature, they could'nt seem to get enough of one thing, each other. "Fine Art Of Love" is a beautiful and passionate love story with just enough punch to keep you turning each page, until you finish....... All I have to say is watch out, Trey...lol

A Love Off Limits

THE FINE ART OF LOVE by Celeste O. Norfleet pits adventure with romance and serves as an educational piece into the ancestry of African art. Dr. Kennedy Evans is the curator for the National African Arts Museum in Washington, DC, a position that affords her unlimited travel throughout the world. Keni is the last born in a set of triplets to Jace and Taylor Evans and as such, is the most daring and fearless of the three children. Arriving back in the United States, after traveling to Africa to procure artifacts from the Nubian Museum for a Nubian exhibit at the National African Arts Museum, Keni literally bumps into Juwan Mason, a brooding, cautious and calculating FBI agent specializing in recovering black market artifacts. Unbeknownst to Keni, Juwan is trailing her; she is a suspect in the theft at the Nubian Museum. Although suspects were captured, one deceptive thief managed to escape, a man with whom Keni had a relationship with, some would assume. This makes Keni a prime suspect in knowing his whereabouts and that of the stolen art. The plot becomes more complicated when Keni assumes that Juwan is a bodyguard for an African Ambassador to the United States and an illegal immigrant. She and Juwan fall for each other and in an effort to save her, and she him, a race against time begins. This sets in motion a series of events that ultimately crashes upon the couple. Norfleet offers an enormous amount of information on African art and its history along with some zany primary and secondary characters, which make for some humorous moments. The imagery used helps in visualizing the countries traveled and the intricate layout and design of the museums highlighted. The characterizations of Keni, Juwan and their families are fully developed and the backgrounds disclosed all add to a moving, ardent and enjoyable tale. THE FINE ART OF LOVE is a well-written and detailed account of thievery, deception and finally unexpected love. Reviewed by Dawn R. Reeves of The RAWSISTAZ™ Reviewers
