Civil War reenactor Mike Hill and his friends Ray and Gordon attend the 150th anniversary reenactment of the battle of Gettysburg, expecting to have a good time. When they explore an old barn and read a spell, they somehow find themselves transported back in time to the actual battle.

In order to get back home, they have to get back to the barn and read the spell again. But in order to do that, they have to participate in Pickett's Charge. Their odds of getting home aren't looking good.
