This is the story of how a little girl, Umeed, becomes the hope for the protagonists and how perceptions and impressions are shattered as reality unfolds.

The story, set in the backdrop of the unfortunate Muzaffarnagar Riots of 2013 with love - jihad suspicion as its trigger, is an emotional tale with love at its core. The Fight Backs portrays the positive life-changing journey of the protagonists whose inner struggles lead to spiritual awakening. The story eventually immerses itself in spirituality.

The characters of The Fight Backs are all inside and all around us. We just have to observe them without the past and often misconceived prejudices.
