Really Want to Visit this Inn!

Honestly, any time I want something cozy and warming to read, light and with a healthy amount of humor with a happy ending, I know I can count on Sarah Beth Durst to deliver. And she does with this winner of a cozy YA fantasy that is bursting with saving a special Inn, finding lasting friendships that may turn into something more (in the future), magic, and discovering something about your past and family that turns into the one thing that will shape your path into something wonderous. Absolutely love Calisa and Jack with their friendliness, willing to work hard (despite the grumpy Great Aunt Zee!) and turn the Faraway Inn into the best place to find solace and an escape from the turmoil of life that it once was. There are delicious cakes, hot chocolate, a surprise or two in closets, and a tale that is heart warming, cozy, and delicious, just like one of Calisa's cakes! And of course there is a happy ending that makes me want to go and start the whole book over again to keep that feeling present. This is a perfectly lovely and wonderful story and I am so happy I got the chance to read this. Sarah Beth Durst is one author that I won't hesitate to get all her books!
