The Expendable Garrison is a true WWII story of hope and despair as, just before Pearl Harbor, 18 thousand American warriors stationed about the Asiatics are assembled in the Philippines. There, following Pearl Harbor, the garrison battles the Japanese to a standstill for five months, without the possibility of help due to the damage inflicted on the American Navy. With supplies running out and sickness and disease taking a heavy toll, the Americans make a fierce last-ditch stand against the far superior Japanese armament, but are ultimately surrendered by General Wainright to become prisoners of the diabolic Japanese military for more than three years.
