Enlightening, enlivening, enspiring, enjoyable - wonderful !

I know David Bolen personally, I met him whilst he was in the process of writing this book. One of the reasons why I love this book so much is that David has written about a way of living that he has already embraced. He writes straight from the heart. In todays technological age, life is fast and furious and it's frighteningly easy to lose track of what life's all about. To lose touch with your true self is a sad yet evitable process if you don't take time out every now and then. Some people are able to do this with religion or sport, others delve into hobbies or family - but what I liked most about David's book was that it empowered me to discover what it was all about without using an external crutch - it was all within, and ready and waiting to be tapped, and not only now but forever. His ideas and insights were a revelation to me, and I already thought I knew it all.
