The Era of Mixed Feelings seeks to remove the stigma against teens by collaborating with young storytellers and artists to bring their personal experiences to light. These people, ranging from ages 12 to 22, freely recount their good, bad, and ugly experiences through poetry and simple conversation. Their stories have been curated into a cohesive format to show all that regardless of their age, what they have gone through is true, valid, and deserves to be shared. Not only that, but their stories intend to show others that they are not alone in their struggles. The Era of Mixed Feelings is an anthology of euphoria, hatred, and confusion - all things that make or break us during our teenage years. Though people of past generations have experienced the same things in similar ways, it's still important to talk about them as they appear now. Who knows? Maybe we can save a life.
