one of the best books I've ever read

I don't think I can improve on the review presented by "Pamela Rice." My sentiments exactly. I read this book back in 1982 and NOTHING has been the same since! Greene is an incredible writer. He brings the nature of imperialism to life. This book is a very enjoyable read, but please take note, your eyes will be opened and you may be inspired to "do something" about this world we live in. My hat STAYS off to Mr. Felix Greene! RECOMMENDATION: READ IT!!!!!!!!! NO, I don't think you heard me..... READ IT!!!!!!! You can thank me later!

A major influence on my life

I read this book when in college, over 20 years ago.It has defined my view of international politics ever since.I'm buying the book again to re-read today what has had so much influence on me over all of these years.
