The Eightfold Future

By Robert DeLaurentis

Blending adventure, spirituality, and visionary science fiction, The Eightfold Future delivers a powerful conclusion about resilience, belonging, and the boundless possibilities of the human spirit.

The year is 2061. Thomas and Eno, now two years older, are still lost in the Amazon rainforest, desperately searching for their cable car. But their situation quickly worsens when Varik, Thomas's nemesis leading a group of Martian commandos, discovers them. With Eno sick from malaria, hope arrives in the form of a young native boy who leads them to the cable car and a daring escape.

Desperate to save Eno and reconnect with Elly, Thomas time jumps to Boston in 2025, where Elly is now a college freshman. Their reunion is short-lived after Thomas reveals the truth about her identity, shattering their relationship just as FBI agents close in. Forced to flee once again, the trio embarks on a dangerous journey spanning continents and timelines--from the Amazon rainforest to a remote Himalayan monastery and the icy slopes of a forbidding glacier.

As the fate of seventeen children, the planet, and humanity's future hangs in the balance, Thomas must confront the ultimate question: how much is he willing to sacrifice to save the world?
