The Effectiveness of Healing the Sick: Within an Environment of Supernatural Discipleship

By Dr Obadiah Swen

Are you feeling overwhelmed or burdened? Are you tired of seeing people in your family, church, or community suffer from sickness and disease, and don't know how to help? If you are like most people, you wish you had a practical guide to help you make a difference in people's lives.

In this book, Dr. Swen shows you how to experience more healing manifestations, deepen your intimacy with God, increase your boldness in sharing the gospel and praying for the sick, enhance your effectiveness in the healing ministry, and become a more effective and committed church worker.

He demonstrates how Jesus' model of discipleship provides a unique opportunity for you to pursue God passionately and become a supernatural disciple who preaches the gospel with signs, wonders, and miracles. The premise is that God wants to do more for you - He wants to ACTIVATE you so that He can work in and through you. He wants to develop INTIMACY, as He partners with you, and accelerate PRAYER, expressing His power through you as you TESTIFY to His message and mission.

Dr. Obadiah and Elizabeth Swen are pastors of Harvest Intercontinental World Evangelism. God has blessed them with three lovely children: Lacinda and her husband, Cazambe; Othniel; and Enoch. Since 2019, when they attended the Global Awakening Empowered Conference, he has experienced an acceleration of healing, deliverance, and prophecy, which led him to focus on equipping believers. Dr. Swen earned a Doctor of Ministry degree in Renewal Theology from Global Awakening Theological Seminary and is a certified master equipper in physical healing, emotional healing, and deliverance, as well as a certified prophetic specialist. He has served as the United States National Overseer and International Missions Director of HIM-U. Elizabeth is a God-fearing woman of excellence who operates in the prophetic and psalmist anointing.
