Suprisngly good

I picked this up in a dollar stor, and it was worth both the money and the time I spent reading it. The plot, while not masterful, presents a lot of great "what if" ideas, and ties together a lot of different ideas, from ancient middle-american mythology to contemporary sci-fi fun. It covers a good range of human themes, such as love, war, betrayal, regret, and redemption. Overall, a great read if you're looking for something that's different and a lot of fun without being childish.
