God's Dream for You

This book uses Scripture to show that God has a unique dream for each person. Pastor Wayne, the author, uses himself as a personal example of this. At a young age, he felt called to the things of God, but there were a chain of events which happened which hurt him deeply and he rebelled into a wicked lifestyle. Despite his difficulties and sins, God still had the dream and brought it about over time. He can do the same for you. Don't give up on life.

are we there yet?

Sometimes my wife and I take our kids out for a Sunday drive -- no particular destination in mind, just going where the mood takes us. Some drives have been quite memorable, while others are easily forgotten. Looking back on all of our Sunday drives, we have a generally positive feeling, but an overall lack of substance. We could likely generate more life-altering memories in one well-planned two week vacation than a lifetime of Sunday drives.The Dream Releasers is a Sunday drive. There are strong points tucked in behind some flowery metaphors, but more often than not I found myself wondering where I was, and where the author was trying to take me. There is substance, but it's not clearly presented.The idea behind this book is great -- by helping others realize their true potential, you unleash your own potential. It is aimed primarily at pastors and lay ministers who wish to expand their sphere of influence by developing others. But rather than a passionate plea from a concerned friend, Dream Releasers came across to me as a distant, tired sermon. It stumbles out of the gate and never quite gains its full stride. A great book by a well established author

This book is not just another "feel good" book. This book can change your life if you let it. It will open your mind to the possiblities of accomplishing everything you always wanted to. This book is very different than inspirational "hype", or pop culture feel good stuff--This deals directly with your heart and the motivation on why and how you can accomplish something. Once you heard Dr. Cordeiro speak in person, you will know that his books can be nothing less than God given guidence for your life. I highly reccomend this book and all of Dr. Cordeiro's other books as well. Especially great for leaders and pastors, but was written in a fashion that even a young person can understand. You have to be a lunatic to say this book has done nothing for you... Two thumbs up!

Dr. Wayne Cordeiro is A Releaser of Dreams

All you need to do is attend New Hope Church and you will realize that Pastor Wayne Cordeiro has allowed God to release his own dreams and is encouraging and believing in the dreams of others to be released. This book will give you practical insight into living out your God given dreams and assisting others to do the same. I highly recommend you get it - read it- and live it. If you are involved in leadership (in a church or not) and do not have Doing Church as a Team by Wayne Cordeiro, I strongly encourage you to get both of them and use the two books together. You will not be dissapointed.
