C. G. Jung says in his foreword to this book: "... her interpretations are not only definitive, they are illuminating, and bring an apparently outlandish and baroque romance, which was so eagerly read... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book will prove helpful for those who may be experiencing unrequited love. There is the sense that Cupid must bring the object of one's affection to the point of helping the afflicted one to resolve his or her feelings for the beloved. This is accomplished through the dream life and often will have romantic/erotic overtones, sometimes just a simple kiss will suffice. I am thinking of Freud's wish fulfillment here, as well as approaches that Jung has taken. Truly the book is light for the journey for those who are in love, most particularly for a male trying to negotiate a relationship with his anima as another reviewer has pointed out.
