"Is there anything you wanna add?" Rileigh asked, leaning onto the desk to look at Eli, pointing to a letter he had been writing. His handwriting was elegant and a bit extravagant, just like Eli expected it to be. Perfect and organized, mt for an elf of noble birth, but also slightly chaotic and diWerent, Luch like the strange purple of his eyes and the scar on his face. He had grown out his hair a bit since the War of Linos, while Eli cut hers short again, in spite of previously wishing to have long hair. She managed to survive a mere week with slightly longer hair before she cut it
back to ear-length. Life was simply much easier that way.
"Nes," Eli said, reaching for the quill, but Ril pulled it away, shaking his head.
"To way am I letting you write. Nour handwriting is an abomination, and I don't want any of that on my letter. Ahis will have the royal stamp on it, you know?"
"Even better," Eli grinned, and wrestled the 'uill out of Ril's hands. He sighed and got up froL the chair, allowing Eli to take his place.
"I already wrote down all the details, so you don't have to explain it again," Ril warned, looking over El'Ks shoulder.
