Did I finish the book or did this book finished me?

I started it slow, but once I got to the basics of the story I couldn't stop! It's so lovely and magical and also so so very real and reality is currently hard so so was this book. I loved it! By the end I was ugly sobbing SO bad! I definately recommend

Stunningly written, this story and troubling and challenging of course, given the subject matter, but with a heartwarming and magical twist. For kids (or adults like me) who want historical fiction but with meaningful fantasy, it’s unparalleled. The Nutcracker meets The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.
