To those who are involved in discourse studies, the book gives a comprehensive view of the different disciplines that deal with discourse, through the works of very well known authors. Readers will learn how to approach discourse by putting different theories into action. It is important to note that not only verbal language but also sounds and images have been the objects of study included in this book, since they also convey meaning.The title itself is significant. The reader feels he is being addressed by the title, that the book is meant for him, and it is! I highly recommend this book to those who have started discourse studies and to those who are already engaged in them.
