The Dirty Feet Rebellion

By D. A. Cairns

Grieving the loss of his wife, Al Kirk finds purpose in the cafe they built together, Twin Passions. After reading a short story about a futuristic solution to antisocial behavior, he's inspired to improve civility in his own neighborhood. Al creates the CRAM crew-Courtesy, Respect, Attitude, Manners-and with his band of quirky allies, sets out to make a difference. The crew includes Farhad, an emotional Iranian immigrant; Captain Harlan Sanders, an eccentric local resembling the KFC icon; and Bon Scott, a headbanging student and musician.

As Al's mission takes off, he becomes entangled in a messy affair between his accountant and a client. Meanwhile, the attractive and intimidating Detective Jeffcoate watches his every move. Up to his neck in other people's business and possibly losing his mind, Al is determined to be a crusader for good manners, but he may need saving himself.
