That she has no idea how to handle....
What a terrific tale! Sandra Marton is awesome! I don't feel the synopsis fairly represented an overview of the book; it was not at all what I expected. But I was pleased. The characters were complex, interesting beautifully portrayed. Addison was a delight; strong, sassy, direct, intelligent. She was quite a challenge for Jacob! What a brave, complicated, haunted man. Every bit the hero Jacob denied himself to be. Together, Addison and Jacob were dynamite! There was such tenderness; they each fulfilled a need the other craved- but denied themselves. I was captivated. The author introduced Jacob's brothers, Caleb & Travis, and my interest in learning their stories was sparked. I'm looking forward the next book in the trilogy!
