Very economically priced for a hardback, this aptly named inspirational gem based on Psalm 37 is expertly put together with complimentary artistry at the beginning of each chapter and enticing chapter headings. Altogether nice arrangement, price, and readability make this a beautiful gift book for anyone needing a little extra encouragement. I like how Psalm 37 in its entirety is printed at the beginning of the book just before the chapters begin.

A Book for All Times

I received this book as a gift from the author and had never read a Ron Mehl book before. I could not put this book down. It is easy to read and easy to understand. The examples provided are insightful and thought provoking. Whenever friends of mine are experiencing rough times I give them this book.While reading this book you can hear the quiet Spirit of God which reaches into your soul with comfort and quietness.Highly recommended!

Learning from King David's ordinary life.

I read this book and it really touched my heart. This is the kind of book you have no doubt that the author is Holy Spirit himself. Actually, Ron Mehl is one of the best evangelical writer I ever read.

If you are looking for a book that truely can touch the heart of a man, you may want to read this. It is a simple book. It is a humble book. It is a book about Jesus the Christ. It is a book about David King of Isreal. But mostly it is about people who want to know the love of God and want to put their trust in him. This may be you. I don't know. It was me and I loved it and am greatful for it.
