I walked down the dimly lit hallway, my shoulders brushing against either side. The air was thick and unfiltered.

The temperature dropped slightly as I moved further along, searching desperately for a sign of anything out of the ordinary.

The hallway widened into an open room, though the darkness made it near impossible to see.

The stench hit me first, like decaying flesh. It was almost enough to make me gag.

When my eyes adjusted to the darkness, they widened with horror... and the beasts came into view.
