Very disappointing.

One of the worst books I have read in recent years. Trite no real plot or resolution. Not sure why the author thought she needed to waste so much time on a minor character and then go no where with it. Do not waste your time on this book.

Disappointing

Just another book about a dysfunctional American family. Ho-hum. At some points, this book read more like a textbook on Native American culture/history in Maine and a moral lecture on that topic, which I didn’t expect from a novel. I liked the ghosts and the clairvoyant aspects of the book but not enough time was spent on that. I’m surprised I finished this book. I only finished it because I kept waiting for more to happen and answers to be revealed. Basically, this read was a dud for me.
