Incredible!

This book is very scary and very creepy..especially to me, someone who has paid lip service to Christ all his life but never really started to pay attention until a few months ago... for me it is a direct indication of where I could've fallen all too easily had I not made some good decisions... Highly recommended!!!

No longer in F. peretti's shadow

I read this book years ago. I have not been able to find it until now. It was the first book I read of R. Elwood and most certaintly not the last! I think this is by far his best work even outdoiing the later angelwalk series. It seems as F. peretti writes just a few books that everyone loves, people seem to overlook this one of many books by R. E. This should be given out at every salvation to show Christians what they are up agaist. This book along with a few others have changed the way I pray and see this world.

The Christening

I just started reading the Christening and I can't put it down. It shows that Satan is real and all around us.

Still a topic of conversation!

I read this book several years ago and re-read it recently. There are a few times when I thought the narrative was a little over the top, but that really didn't detract. For those who think that Satan is nothing to worry about, this is the book to read. For those who know Satan is something to worry about, it offers more insight. The story is intense without being trashy. The book incorporates occult activities that people can, and sometimes do, get involved in. It was so good that, after my second reading, five friends borrowed and read it. Now, it's often a topic of conversation. Read about a town with only one church-- a church that teaches false, Charismatic doctrine-- and how that town spiralled down into a holocaust.

Excellent, couldn't put it down

I read this book a few years ago and have recently found it again. It is an excellent read.Roger Elwood spins a tale of a city griped with idoletry that leads to murder. A town is taken captive by Satan and his demons.
