Hank the Cowdog is on the case in his fiftieth mystery, and it's an extralong, laugh-out-loud adventure! When Hank gets invited-that is, invites himself-on an archaeological dig, all he can think about is impressing the head scientist's beautiful lady dog. But Hank's heart isn't the only thing that's about to get stolen! Can the Head of Ranch Security save an ancient buffalo bone from thieves who want to devour the precious artifact-and have Hank for dessert? This landmark book is a must-have for all Hank fans!
It's a heat wave in Texas and Hank gets into trouble while helping little Alfred sell lemonade. They meet a friend of Alfred's Dad who is digging a old foundation nearby for artifacts. He invites Alfred to help and Slim goes to watch over Alfred. Of course Hank isn't invited, but he goes anyway and gets into touble. Rip and Snort show up at night and have to find out what happens next.
Great Book

I love all the Hank books, and this is a great one for the Christmas season. These books are hilarious and more important to the young reader, fun to read. I'd also check the rest of the series. Author of "Hobo Finds A Home" editor "Of A Predatory Heart"
One of the better Hank stories

The usual cast of characters bounce along in Hank's current adventure with his boy Alfred, another failed romance, tangling with coyote brothers, and saving the day in spite of himself. This story moves along better than some Hank offerings, and although not my favorite Hank episode, was good enough to make me glad we added it to our collection.
