The Carpenter's Son

Prologue Heeding the voice of God from childhood thru to adulthood I was 10 years old. While riding my bicycle, I fell and injured my knee. There was a deep cut that would take time to heal. My Aunt Gertrude came by our house on the way to visit my grandmother. I wanted to tag along, so she told my mother she would nurse my bruise. When we got settled, she got a washcloth and dipped it in soapy water. With one hand, she squeezed out the wet contents to clean my injury. At that moment, my little mind could not grasp how she could be so strong. Later, I tried to do the same, but I couldn't even though I used two hands. It took time, growth and maturity for me to understand that someday I too could do what I had seen as a child being done. Such is life. We never fully comprehend situations as we are experiencing them, but just wait. It won't take long for you to see that we understand ALL things in the fullness of time.
