Fiction That Seems Real

Camelot Conspiracy is the first book of the Munsons' that I have read. It will not be my last! If you like adventure, thrills, mystery, and action, this is a good pick for you. The Munson's' life experiences qualify them to write their novels with authenticity and believability. In addition, their characters are realistic, flawed, redeemable humans. If you enjoy multiple points of view, this book delivers. The many different viewpoints add realism to the story as many things unfold and happen all at once. I enjoyed the history involved in the uncovering of alternate facts on the Kennedy assassination. The cast of characters include Kat Kowicki, news reporter; Jack McKenna local policeman on assignment with the DEA, and FBI special agents Eva Montanna and Grif Topping. Within the story the reader follows a terrorist group, a hidden alternative plot for Kennedy's assassination, and a shadow government that has weaseled into the very fibers of the CIA. One by one the stories intertwine as Kat Kowicki and Jack McKenna fight for their very lives and try to save democracy in the process. This book is fast paced and intriguing. I look forward to reading more books by the Munson's

Page-turning political thriller

This fast-paced political thriller is a captivating insider look into government intrigue. Diane and David Munson weave their expertise in the justice system with real-life situations and spiritual conflicts. Eva Montanna is too busy with her special assignment to the U.S. Senate to follow up on the unexpected caller's plea: "My life is in danger. Help free me, por favor. . . . Children, hundreds, maybe thousands, will die if I do nothing. Can you get me out?" As a mother of three, she can't just do nothing, so she hands the Cuban prisoner case over to fellow CIA agent on her way to the senate hearing on terrorist threats from South America . Kat Kowicki, reporter for network television, believes Senator Zorn's behind-the-scenes smear campaigns of the presidential candidates mask his own intentions to run, and she intends to expose him. She enlists Eva's unsuspecting help in nailing him, and it backfires. So her boss demotes her to the Chicago station. In Chicago, Kat encounters undercover operative Sergeant Jack McKenna of the Joint Terrorism Task Force, and he enlists her help in aiding his father. Big John, a retired Chicago policeman, is bent on exposing the second shooter in the assassination of John F. Kennedy. They soon find that the Cuban prisoner, the presidential campaign, and Kennedy's assassination have a common denominator. This is a page-turner you won't want to miss.

"FANASTIC" AGAIN!!!

AND, WOW again!!! My third book by the Munson's who I am so greatful to for their writing style and first hand knowledge of what goes into their books. Unlike some people who tell everything that is in a book, I will just say how it kept me "IN" the book and heart rate up!! Christmas day I took a few breaks, with an excuse to "rest up" but was really reading this book... In my reviews of their first two in the Justice series I have written of their background for being able to bring such a current and focused story into reality. In this book, terrorism is "front and center" with all it's possiblities, and running against the clock. I am so glad to see some of the same characters, which had my mind racing again, wondering who was "really" the bad guy, or good. Sad when it ended. I ordered for other family members who love their work. I don't call it just a legal thriller, because there is sooo much more to it. The undercover work, the trickery... I really don't know of another author with such creds that is out there. This is "stuff" happening NOW!! You can be 16 or 80 and read their book's. I am SO waiting for their next book.

Another Winner from Diane and David Munson

Having read the Munson's earlier "Justice Series" titles ("Facing Justice" and "Confirming Justice") I already knew that they bring a realism to their novels that only a former Federal prosecutor and former Federal undercover agent team could write. I also knew that the Munson's write in a family friendly way so I don't need to be embarrassed to recommend their books. What I wasn't prepared for was a a new theory (very realistic) to the JFK assassination as the basis for one of the three plot lines. As in the other "Justice Series" novels, "The Camelot Conspiracy" features many familiar characters (including Special agents Eva Montanna and Griff Topping) and focusses on the brash reporter, Kat Kowicki who finds herself in the middle of a multi-layered international conspiracy. Page by page the Munson's draw us in with the many twists and turns only the best novelists can weave. If you are looking for great mystery and suspense, "The Camelot Conspiracy" delivers. Tired of foul language with no purpose, here is a book that does not stoop to that level. Good writing does not need to feature explicit sex, violence and language. Here is a book you can recommend to anyone who enjoys great suspense.
