The Butcher of the Boardwalk
A standalone horror novel by Gizmolife
For decades, women vanished from the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk.
Some were locals. Some were tourists. Some worked late shifts in beachside bars and caf s. Some were runners, dreamers, daughters, sisters, and wives. The police called them runaways. Families called them missing.
But they were taken.
Eddie Voss was the quiet butcher behind the counter at Voss Family Meats in Hollywood, Florida. By day, he wrapped steaks in white paper and smiled at customers. By night, he walked the Broadwalk, watching women, learning their routines, and choosing who would disappear next.
From each woman, he saved one thing.
A bracelet.
A name tag.
A motel key.
A gold hoop earring.
A running watch.
Each item was wrapped in butcher paper, tied with twine, and labeled like inventory.
Years later, Amazon driver Derek Mills delivers a package to the wrong address: the abandoned meat market where Eddie's secrets were buried. Inside, he finds a butcher-paper parcel labeled with the name of a woman missing for decades.
When the FBI arrives, Special Agent Vivian Cross uncovers a horror far larger than one dead butcher. Behind the cooler doors, beneath the cutting room floor, and inside the walls of Voss Family Meats, the victims are still waiting to be named.
The market is closed.
The knives are still sharp.
And something inside still remembers the route.
The Butcher of the Broadwalk is a dark, graphic, supernatural serial-killer horror novel filled with FBI cold-case suspense, haunted evidence, butcher-shop terror, and a final twist that leaves the dead whispering from the paper.
