"The Bracelet" and Clay Aiken

I read this book and I immediately knew it was written about Clay Aiken. The softness regarding the character, Chance, could not have been anyone else's personality but Clay. The love he portrayed for Lauren, his mother, his God, and his fans is exactly the way Clay lives his life. I recommend this book to every Clay fan (or mate) to be able to associate the beautiful love story and feelings in the story. Excellent job, Maureen

THE BRACELET -- A Joy to Read

I so thoroughly enjoyed this book. Even with having ADD and rarely finishing a book, I was able to stick with it and it didn't take me too long. As a fan of a certain singer from a popular reality show, I believe that he was the inspiration for this book. That is because he inspires in me the same feelings as the author describes. The dialogue seemed so real to me. From their first meeting, it was like reading a lovely fantasy that I could imagine for my own self. I wanted it to go on and on...

Great Book

I very much enjoyed this book. I found it took me a away from this crazy world even for just a few minutes. I am now reading it again. Great Job

Inspiring...

"The Bracelet" combines a sweet and poignant love story set in the beautiful mountains of Colorado, with the theme of God's grace in our lives. Having said that, please understand that this book is not necessarily a religious one. It is for any reader who enjoys a well-written story about two people who find each other through the power of music, and how it can touch our innermost being. I received the book from a friend and read it quickly the first time, eager to find out what happened next. The second reading gave me time to discover the many layers of the story, as each character comes alive on the pages. I recommend this book and hope that this first-time author will write again. She truly has a gift!

This book has been a blessing for me...

I would like to say first... that this book is a well written, inspirational, and moving read. I am a hopelessly devoted and very loyal Clay Aiken fan and I was made aware of this wonderful book on a Clay Aiken message board. I then told my closest Clay friend about the book and she bought it and sent a copy of it to me as well. I can't even begin to thank her enough for doing that for me, because the author of this book has touched my heart in a way that's much too difficult for me to express in words. Yes, I can honestly say, (and with good conscience) that since I've read this particular book, my life as I know today, has changed for the better and I am a 'new person' because of it. I know that this book won't have the same impact on every reader, but I can guarantee that it will leave most feeling moved and inspired. The very day I received the book, I read it non-stop from cover to cover and I never do that. I was totally captivated by the whole sentiment of the story that was being told by the author. The story was sweet, sensitive, spiritual and very touching. The author truly has a gift and I greatly appreciate her sharing her story with the world. I hope she is inspired to do more writing in the future. Just as Clay has made a profound impact upon my life... Maureen's beautiful book, 'The Bracelet' has done so as well. I very much enjoyed reading her book. I need to make something clear here... the author in no way claims that the character Chance was fashioned after Clay Aiken, but for any one who is truly a fan of his... it is pretty evident that Clay Aiken was infact the inspiration for her book. The author captures the very essence of what Clay is all about and the very man that he is and I highly suggest that all Clay fans read this book. It will indeed touch their lives in some way.
