Attention getter!

My 7 year old loves the Library of Doom series. He was struggling to find books that interested him, and with the great typsetting and illustrations, LOD has caught his attention. He reads them quick and I am so glad to see that he can read when he finds something to interest him!! These are not literary greats, but they are great for getting attention, and keeping a child hooked on reading! Great Series!!!

Just right for reluctant readers

The mysterious Librarian, the sworn enemy of dangerous books, must come to the rescue of those threatened by ancient curses. This entry is extremely fast paced, with edgy artwork and clever text structure which should highly appeal to the struggling reader or those reluctant readers who want a fast-paced quick read. Not great literature, for sure, but a book that will gather no dust on library shelves.
