A Book to Re-Read Over & Over Again

I learned about the power of our intentions a couple of years ago, and have been extremely interested in this concept ever since. In "The Book of Intentions", Dianne Martin shares the importance of our everyday intentions - explaining that our intentions, or the thoughts we entertain & focus on each day, influence what we bring into our experience. And that, through purposeful intentions, we have the power to change any perceptions & reactions that are no longer serving us. She then goes on to provide the reader with a large number of thought-provoking, inspiring intentions/affirmations that she uses. These intentions are broken down into various life-areas, such as: spiritual understanding, family & friends, creative purpose, etc... After having read the book from cover to cover, I realized that this is one of those books that I'll need to go through again - this time pondering & focusing on 1 or 2 intentions per week - so that I can really let it all sink in. Overall, I found this to be a great resource on intentions, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in this subject - it has a lot to offer.

I picked this up on the recommendation of a friend of the author.What a lovely collection of statements about spirituality, family, friendship, and self. I found it to be an affirmation of things that i forgot i believed in. It was not pushy or preachy as some books of this area can be. Thanks to the author for following through on her intentions! I intend to purchase several copies as gifts as well.
