The Blackmailed Bride is a fun read!

An interesting and comical tale of love between Kate and Javier. The dry wit both characters share is delightful- the dialogue light. Brief character development was more than adequate to explain and support characters' behaviors. This is a light read- no tangled plots, no raging emotions, no hot sensuality. At times Kate's behavior and dialogue is a bit too juvenile and snarky in an immature way- slows down the story line. Virtually none of Javier's private thoughts or feelings for Kate are detailed, which was a bit disappointing. The reason for the converging of these two characters was Javier's grandfather's desire to see Javier married before his passing-for purposes of inheritance. That part of the plot was not touched upon! Did Javier's grandfather know of the marriage before his passing? It did not finish this aspect of the tale. One assumes Javier inherited- but it was not explored. A bit disappointing. Overall it was enjoyable. I would recommend it!
