The Black Knight and Other Tales paperback book is an extended one hundred page anthology containing stories written and illustrated between 2009 to 2011. Each explores a variety of genres and experiments with sequential storytelling, via traditional and alternative forms of presenting tales of fantasy, reality and visual forms as contemporary sequential storytelling. Most of these stories are written and drawn by Adam Grose. The Price of a Kiss is written by Max Deacon and Veils is drawn by Tony Suleri. The first half of the book is mainly comic strips with the second half of the book given over to a portfolio of drawings, sketches, ideas and illustrations. Most have been created through traditional forms of drawing, inking, printing and sculpture, whilst others have been created through digital means of drawing and painting. Some alternative forms of comic production are included that explore the relationships between the written word and imagery. This is the first time each of these stories have been brought together into one volume in the series of 'Other' books. I hope you enjoy this publication and look forward to your review.
